The system developed was a common combination of hardware, software and coding theory. The basic principle uses an important coding technique - Conventional coding. It has been implemented in FPGA, which is for field programmable gate array. The IC Ectel used here is 1280 xl, which includes approximately 8000 logic gate and memory element. For IC programs, VHDL is used. The used VHDL compiler was Altera Maxplus II. This system has the ability to generate Confucian codes with more than one rate. Seed rates of 2/3 and 2/5 are available which can be selected as desired, this enables the future development of the system to start an Interlayer circuit in the Turbo Code Encoder.
