A local driving instructor wants to automate her lesson booking system – currently it is paper based. The driving instructor requires a computer application that will allow her to perform the following tasks:

1. Register a new pupil. Each registration will record:
a. Driving license number
b. Name
c. Date of birth
d. Address
e. Telephone number
f. Email address
g. Driving license type (Provisional / Full)
h. Driving test pass date (will be blank for pupils yet to pass their test)

2. Book a lesson. Note that (in this simple system) it is the driving instructor’s responsibility to manage the lesson bookings (e.g. to ensure there are no double-bookings). All lessons last 1 hour. Each lesson will record:
a. Booking number
b. Pupil driving license number
c. Lesson date
d. Lesson start-time
e. Lesson type (Normal / Pass Plus / Advanced / Test)
f. Pick-up location (post code)
g. Drop-off location (post code)
h. Lesson price (£)

3. List/view all bookings for a particular date. This will allow the driving instructor to manage her bookings.

4. Cancel/delete a booking.

5. List/view all bookings for a particular pupil.

6. Update the driving test pass date when a pupil passes his/her driving test

7. List all pupils who have recently passed their test (so that the driving instructor can contact them to promote Pass Plus and Advanced lessons)

8. Based on data recorded within the application, produce a report that contains the following statistics:
a. Revenue for a particular month (e.g. January 2014).
b. The total number of current students (i.e. students who have a lesson booked for sometime in the future).
c. The average number of lessons it takes a student to pass their driving test.
