Recently, due to concerns about the liberalization of electricity supply, deregulation and the overall impact on the environment, ensuring a reliable source of food has become a major social need worldwide. To ensure that this need is met, detailed research and development on energy distribution systems and monitoring of the equipment is underway.
They are on
(1) "digital technology" based on the application of semiconductor high-speed elements,
(2) intelligent substations applying IT (information technology), and
(3) system configurations intended for high-speed communication.
Incorporated in these are demands for future intelligent control of substations, protection, monitoring and communication systems that have advantages in terms of high performance, functional distribution, information exchange and integrated management of energy distribution. The conventional apparatus of today also requires the rationalization of functions, improvements in sensor technology and standardized interfaces.
By promoting these developments, the following savings can be expected for the entire system:
(1) reduction of costs in remote monitoring in the field of monitoring, operation and maintenance of devices,
(2) reduced maintenance costs based on integrated management of equipment, and
(3) reduced costs due to space savings as a result of equipment miniaturization.
Commonly, artificial intelligence is known to be the intelligence displayed by machines and software, for example, robots and computer programs. The term is generally used to develop systems equipped with the intellectual characteristics and characteristics of humans, such as the ability to think, reason, generalize, distinguish, learn from past experience or rectify their mistakes. Generally refers to machines or programs with the ability to think at a level independent of their operator to make decisions
