Online Recruitment System project is proposed to develop a graduate recruiting service accessibilities on the Internet. The project will be a service for both the Graduate and Employer. It will be a recruiting firm. Working full time for those looking for a job and those looking for employees. The system will cater for all industries. The systems database will be able to help graduates find a job for anything from according and computers to warehouse and driving positions etc.
Both a graduate and employer must become a member before they can use this service. Registration is easily accomplished. A person looking for a job will have to choose the graduate option. Here he/she will be given a choice to Login or join as a new graduate like wise the Employers option. If a person is not a member they have to register and therefore must select the new user option. Having done this, they’ll be greeted by a ‘Welcome page’ this will provide the member with guide buttons to help the member navigator through the system.
The new member will have fill out a form based on personal details on doing this they will be given a unique Use ID and a unique Password. These will be used, to login, search for jobs and set as a security measure. They will then have to fill out another form based on preference information, educational history and skills. The details stored on the Graduate will include last name, first name, address, country, home phone number, other phone number, fax, date or birth, e-mail address, availability, type of position, industry (1st and 2nd preference.) Location preference, salary expected, education experience, work experience hobbies, interests, achievements etc. Having entered this information, the system will then generate a Resume for that particular member. This Resume is what he Employer will see when they review the members skills profile, there will be an option button provided to edit this Resume.
Search facilities will be developed to enable the member to search many fields to find a job that suits their preference. The search can base on location preference industry preference expected salary to having made the search, the member will be given feedback, i.e. a number of advertisement, that when clicked will give the user a more detailed description of that particular job. Also there will be an option that will display the company’s profile of that particular advertisement, if the user wants to find out more about the company. There will also be a submit button that when clicked will send the members personal resume to the company.
The employer service is very similar to the Graduates service. It too will have security features i.e. unique Password and unique User ID and also will receive a personal company profile that is what the graduate will see if they click the option button to find out more about the company. Having logged in they can choose what functions they want to perform i.e. search edit profile. The search can be based on ‘location’ preference; industry preference expected salary etc. there will also be advance searches available for a list of names and their qualifications. An option button will be available for each name, that when clicked will show the employer the candidate’s personal Resume. Having viewed the candidate skills, experience etc, there will be a feature available enabling them to send their job advertisement to that particular candidate.
