The pedal-operated metal saw has a very simple pedal operated mechanism by pedaling the rotating movement of the wheel becomes a reciprocating movement of the cutting tool. The objective of this work is to cut materials such as wood, plastic, etc., with less effort and speed. That is by connecting a saw to the pedal of a cycle and pedaling the pedals the forces are transmitted and do the work.
The size and shape of the Pedal Power Clipper configuration is similar to the cycle. It's like a cycle added with a bed for the cutting tool. It can be used in the place where electricity is not available. As it requires very low pedaling power, it operates at very low power. On this pedal powered saw connected directly to the pedal. While directly peadlling rotating movement the pedal becomes a round-trip movement of the cutting tool. The end of the cutting tool is placed on the workpiece. By means of the reciprocating movement of the cutting tool, action is taken on the workpiece.

This project consists of an arrangement of the gearwheel, the mechanism of the crank and the slider, the drive mechanism of the chain. In the mechanism, the chain drive is directly connected to the saw for processing cutting the wooden blocks. The aim of the work is to use the conventional mechanical process that plays a vital role. The main objective is to reduce the human effort for the machining of diverse materials like blocks of wood, steel, PVC, etc.
