DoubleGuard detects intrusions in multi-threaded web applications
THREE-LEVEL ARCHITECTURE Web Sphere Application Server provides the application's logical layer in a three-tier architecture, allowing client components to interact with legacy data resources and applications. Collectively, three-level architectures are programming models that allow the distribution of application functionality through three independent systems. Client components running on local workstations (level one) Processes running on remote servers (level two) A discrete collection of databases, resource managers, and main infrastructure applications (level three) These levels are levels Logical. They may or may not be running on the same physical server.
Now day computers are widely used for web application. Most transactions are made online these days. Therefore, data from the web server and database server are prone to being hacked easily, which is based on providing more security to web applications. To overcome this problem the DoubleGuard system is used. The intrusion detection system is used in the DoubleGuard system to detect and prevent attacks. The DoubleGuard system prevents attacks and prevents the intruder user account from causing account hacking. By using the assignment request and query IDS system can provide security for the web server and database server. The network behaviour of user sessions on both the front-end web server and the back-end database is modelled as an IDS system. By isolating the flow of information from each session of the web server, the DoubleGuard system resolves the problem. The accuracy of detection when the system attempts to model static and dynamic web requests with the background file system and database queries is quantified using the DoubleGuard system. For effective detection of different types of attacks, the system constructs correlated models for static web sites. This has also proven to be true for dynamic requests in which information retrieval and database back-end updates are performed using the front-end web server.
