If we connected the voltmeter device with out knowing the ground and VCC the device will be damage. This project is used to protect voltmeter from such incidents and This system consists of ADC (analog-to-digital converter), micro controller, potential transformer, signal controller, voltage trans former, signal controller and contactor. The operation of this system is, a potential transformer is connecting to the signal controller; with this we can measure the voltage. ADC converts from analog signals to digital signals. Micro controller connects to the ADC. Micro controller controls these all operations. ADC converts from analog signals to digital signals.. Micro controller connects to the ADC and contactor is connecting to the micro controller. This contactor function is nothing but relay function. With this if exceed the voltage than required one automatically disconnect the system. Monitoring and controlling are done through an assembly language program. Micro controller controls these all operations. and a display is used to view the readings.
The project is mainly based on the assembly language program to run the Micro controller
