Disadvantages and applications  of flexible alternating current transmission system

The fact is introduced for "flexible AC transmission system" and refers to a group of resources used to overcome certain limitations in static and dynamic transmission capability of the electrical network. IEEE defines future definitions, which include the existing power transmission system, which includes electro-electronics based and other stable controllers to increase the control capacity and power transfer capability. The main purpose of these systems is to supply the network as soon as possible with inductive or capacitive reactive power which is favorable for its special requirements, while also improving efficiency of transmission quality and power transmission system.
