The Innovation: The Innovation Chosen industry (one industry): 1) Retail Chosen technologies: Analytics Our main objective is to replace the existing cooling systems which are huge and tedious to maintain with a more advanced cooling system, and we are in the process of developing it. We are ready with the design, we are in the process of developing the prototype. We believe that an invention is born from a problem being faced by common people, even our invention started its journey when we identified problem and few thoughts came across “why not this way?”…and then we had a broad study on existing cooling systems in automobiles majorly. But as we developed it we found many applications that could beat the current radiator and cooling system market. Describe the innovation developed : Our innovation is primarily a cooling system working with liquid nitrogen and carbon fiber container, and few logics applied mechanically to fast cooling of the fuel in engine and thus making it more efficient in working. Compelling need for the innovation: Compelling need for the innovation The present radiators used in automobiles and air-conditioners are huge because of which the stream-lined nature of the vehicle or the structure and body of the cooling system is compromised. Often large vehicles face the problem of starting the engine while the radiators are heated and in turn heated water falls back on engine and thus reducing the efficiency, because of which there is a break-down and the driver has to wait for a long time for the radiator to cool up. Our design will act as an alternative and can completely replace the existing cooling system, and our system is of the size <1 feet, and it is light-weighted. Once we install this advanced cooling system we can have our normal cars being completely stream-lined and the engine working more efficiently. Maximum Points: 20
Impact: Impact Firstly, we had a complete search in WIPO and we are confident enough to get it patented. Once the product is into the market it smashes off all the existing radiator and cooling system companies. This advanced system once replaced will make our automobiles more stream-lined which allows the vehicle run with more speed and perfect aero-dynamic cars can be easily built. Maximum Points: 30
Implementation: Implementation Now we have complete designing and we are in the process of doing the prototype for which we require 2 months of time to get hands experience of various materials. We are applying for funding in NEN and we are getting technical support for fabricating from CITD, Hyderabad. Our major challenge is to maintain pressure inside the container since liquid nitrogen when turned into gas pressure is developed, but we are installing a pressure valve inside to maintain the pressure. The Competitive Advantage: The Competitive Advantage Since it is a completely new product which is more advantageous than the existing ones, we are sure that multinational automobile companies will show interest since it helps in developing perfect aero-dynamic cars at moderate costs.
