The diagonal structural system can be defined as a diagonal member formed as a frame made by the intersection of various materials such as metals, concrete or wooden beams used in the construction of buildings and roofs.
The diaphragm structures of the steel members are efficient in providing solution both in terms of strength and rigidity. But today a widespread application of diagrid is used in large and high-rise buildings, especially when it comes to complex geometries and curved shapes.
Diagrams generally do not require core because the lateral shear can be carried by the diagonals at the periphery of the building. Analysis and design of steel 36-story steel construction is presented. A regular floor plan of 36 m × 36 m in size is considered. ETABS software is used to model and analyze structural members. All structural elements are designed according to IS 800: 2007 considering all combinations of loads. Dynamics along the wind and wind are considered for analysis and design of the structure. The distribution of the load in the diagrid system for buildings of 36 plants is also studied. Analogously, analysis and design of structures of 50, 60, 70 and 80 plants are carried out.
