Rice rust detergent powder
Rice husk (rice without ground) produces precipitated silicate or liquid sodium silicate; Ingredients needed to make soap and detergent.
Production process:
Rice husks from various rice mills are collected and transported to the rice husk processing plant. The discharge will be carried out pneumatically or with gravity flow and the excavators to intermediate silos. Before entering the silos the impurities are separated by means of a trap. The husks are then crushed and fed to storage silos. The combustion of these husks produces energy and shell of rice husk. Depending on the combustion technology and the parameter of the rice husk ash process
With more or less carbon content (5% - 40%). The other components of the ash are amorphous silica and a small amount of crystalline silica as well as some Inertia. The ash is collected from the various hoppers and flue gas filters of the combustion unit and stored in storage silos.
The rice husk ash is digested first with caustic soda and filtered. In the filter, the diluted liquid sodium silicate is removed from the unwashed carbon filter cake. The dilute liquid sodium silicate is fed to storage tanks while the carbon cake in the filter is washed and chemically cleaned before being dried in the drying section.
Special series dryers allow the production of activated carbon powder with a residual water content of approximately 8%. The activated carbon powder is sieved and stored in storage silos. The liquid sodium silicate is processed with acid and filtered. The filter separates a dilute sodium sulfate (Glauber's salt solution) and the wet silica product. The salt solution can be evaporated or fed to reverse osmosis and a solid salt is produced as a valuable byproduct. The wet filter cake is finally washed and fed to the drying unit. A precipitated silica product with a water content of about 8% is produced with the special dryers. The precipitated amorphous silica powder is sieved and stored in storage silos. For the distribution of the silica products the packaging in bags of various sizes is executed in the packaging unit.
