Storage tanks and tank top are used to store water, liquid petroleum, petroleum products and similar liquids. The analysis of the strength of the tanks or tanks is approximately the same regardless of the chemical nature of the product. All tanks are designed as crack-free structures to eliminate any leakage. The water or slab of crude oil retention and walls can be reinforced concrete with a suitable cover for reinforcement. Water and oil and react with concrete and, therefore, no special treatment is required to the surface. Industrial waste can also be collected and processed in concrete tanks with few exceptions. The oil product, such as gasoline, diesel, etc., is likely to leak through the concrete walls, so these tanks need special membranes to prevent leakage. The tank is a common term applied to the storage structure of liquids and may be below or above ground level. Deposits below ground level are normally constructed to store large amounts of water, while roof type deposits are constructed for direct distribution by gravity flow and are usually of lower capacity.
