Leakage of sensitive data on computer systems poses a serious threat to organizational security. Statistics show that lack of adequate encryption in files and communications due to human errors is a major cause of data loss. Organizations need tools to identify the exposure of sensitive data by tracking content in storage and transmission, ie to detect sensitive information that is stored or transmitted in clear. However, the detection of sensitive information exposure is a challenge due to the transformation of the data into the content. Transformations (such as insertion and disposal) result in highly unpredictable leakage patterns. In this paper, we use sequence alignment techniques to detect complex patterns of data leakage. Our algorithm is designed to detect long and inaccurate sensitive data patterns. This detection is paired with a comparable sampling algorithm, which allows comparing the similarity of two sequences sampled separately. Our system achieves good detection precision by recognizing transformed leaks. We implement a parallel version of our algorithms in the graphics processing unit that achieves a high performance analysis. We demonstrate the high multi-tasking scalability of our data leak detection method required by a large size organization.
Existing system:
In this system it is possible to detect hackers, but the information we get from cookies is smaller to take any serious action against hackers who are involved in data loss. The existing system needs to be upgraded to implement a secure data leak detection application.
Proposed system:
This system will provide more amounts of hackers who are part of the data leak and take serious action against them. In this proposed system we use different methods to discover hackers, for example, generating false objects, data encryption and watermarking techniques.
