Modernized method: waste are mixed with water, through closed conduit under gravity flow.

Sewage: Mixture of water and waste water.

Sewerage: Art of collecting, treating and disposing of the sewage.


Types of sewage


Domestic sewage: Liquid waste originated from bathrooms, kitchen, urinal, wash basin.

Industrial sewage: Waste originating from industrial processes of various industries.

Storm water drainage: Runoff resulting from rain storm.
