ABSTRACT
The project entitled Automation of NEC TECHNOFESTA is proposed to develop a registration service for the participants through Internet. The project will be a service for both the participants and for the organizers. It will be a registration firm for the participants. It will be helpful for the organizers to maintain the information of the participants according to the various events, for filtering of the repeated participants and also to plan about the accommodation for the participants. The organization also keeps track of the details of the various events in the technofesta.
Through this project, registration of the participants is easily accomplished. A person looking for the participation in the technofesta will have to register their self by filling out of the form. The form will contain participant name, , college name, email id, phone number, accommodation data. Having entered this information, the system will acknowledge the registration status.
We can use this application in various ways:
 We can use it as a standard web application where participants will independently register their self.
 The organizers are able to restrict the registration of repeated participants.
 The organizers can easily use if for the confirmation of the participants on the event-commencing day.
 We can use it for generate the reports easily dependent on various factors.
There are two types of users who can access this software.
Normal user: can use for registration and for know their status.
Administrator: can use for filtering of the participants, confirmation of the participant and for generating the reports.
