Hi am Mohanlal i would like to get details on chimney design calculation demo as per is 6533 ..I found chimney design calculation demo as per is 6533 will be available here and now i am living at Chennai. and i last studied in the college/school .Raigarh polytechnic and now am doing freelance designeri need help on design the steel chimney etc

Most industrial steel chimneys are tall structures with circular cross sections. Structures so thin and slightly cushioned are prone to the vibration of the wind. The geometry of a self-supporting steel chimney plays an important role in its structural behavior under lateral dynamic load. This is because the geometry is the main responsible for the rigidity parameters of the chimney. However, the basic dimensions of the self-supporting steel industrial chimney, such as the height, the diameter at the outlet, etc., are generally derived from the associated environmental conditions. To guarantee a desired fault mode design code (IS-6533: 1989 Part 2) it imposes several criteria on the geometry (ratio of base to base diameter and height-base diameter ratio) of steel chimneys.
