A canteen facility is a supplemental system that is provided by organizations for their employees. Many employees of an organization use the services of the canteen as they do not have the means to prepare their own food or are unable to obtain it.
Organizations with large numbers of employees can not operate a canteen with manual processes. They need a centralized canteen management system that promotes efficient operations to cover a large organizational workforce.
A unique solution designed for large assemblies that offers dining in its canteen. Canteen management system helps to smoothly work the dining room without any hassle. Reduces concern about unauthorized use of the canteen facility. This software helps to automate the installation of the canteen and makes it transparent. Star Link device is linked with this software to generate employee reports. There are two ways in which it can be operated that can stop multiple order placement: -
Online operation through the software: - In this process, once the employee processes your order, then your identity and other details are authenticated by the software and then placed the order and, thus, the receipt is generated. No employee can place multiple orders.
Smart Card Authentication: - In this process, an employee has to authenticate by their smart card that includes their details and therefore their order will be placed.
The canteen management system can be operated in configurations with different types of order placement related to articles or quantity. They are the following:
The first type of order that can be placed is: wise item and wise quantity, in which the user can place the order according to their wish without any quantity and item bar.
The second option for order placement is that the quantity of any item will be fixed only that you have to enter the item.
The third option for placing orders is that quantity and item are set according to the time setting. Suppose that if it is noon, then lunch will be served or if it is at night, then tea with snacks will be served (depending on company policy).
