The system shows a fully automated car parking system. For this we use IR sensors together with motors, LCD and microcontroller for
Operation of the system. Our system consists of an LCD screen that is used to demonstrate as an input screen of the parking gate.
The screen shows empty slots for the new car that reaches the parking area door. If there is no parking space available, the system does not open the gate and shows the full parking lot.
If the slot is empty, the system allows the car to enter the lot and shows empty slots where the user can park. To detect the occupancy of the vehicle slot, the system uses IR sensors. The system also uses IR sensors to detect vehicles that reach the parking gates,
To automatically open the doors at the arrival of the vehicle. The microcontroller is used to facilitate the operation of the entire system.
This system will indicate empty and full spaces at the entrance. Now a Day Car parking in malls and markets is becoming a big problem and is causing traffic jams. To avoid this problem we are designing this system to indicate empty slots and filled slots, so that a car driving person can directly carry his car to that particular empty slot. We will indicate the state of the slot by the LEDs and also on the LCD screen. We will use infrared sensors to detect the presence of automobiles in the slot.
