*RULES TO BE FOLLOWED IN A BLACK BOOK*


Please do not write any unnecessary contents in the black book to make it look big and fat.

Don't compare your black book with your friends book and think oh his big mine is small ! No ! Size doesn't matters at all,its the content in it that matters.

INDEX is the most important part ! Please don't make a colourful decorative index with balloons and frills in it,its a BSC IT project and not a filmi Magazine ! Make it as simple as you can. EVEN black&white will do for the purpose.

Please make sure you make a certificate page like on the second page of your black book,its very important ! The supervisor will need this to sign on.

The certificate should be in the standard certificate format which you will get from college,if you don't get then reply here I will give you the standard format of the certificate and you can modify it according to your needs.

Acknowledgement or Preface page need not be more than 1-2pages.

You should write Synopsis as well which will include the steps to be followed in using the project,make sure the steps are written in points by using the bullet option available in MS WORD.

DIAGRAMS DIAGRAMS DIAGRAMS very IMPORTANT for your BLACK BOOK ! Make sure you have at least 2 diagrams in your black book which would make the supervisor feel good.

ERR diagram is expected but its ok if you have others like state chart diagram or block diagram.

Please give the black book for printing As Soon As you Can !

Design the cover of the black book in the standard format ! bearing your projects name in CAPITAL on the top,then your name followed by your college name followed by universities name followed by your college address from top to bottom in the ascending order.

Please do not exceed more than 150 pages. A standard blackbook is expected to be in the range of 80-100 pages.However if you have many forms then its understood that your black book will get fat.
