an open design platform for explorative cell mechanotransduction investigation is developed in this article. scanning probe microscopy
(SPM) techniques and advanced robotics are combined for spatial measurements and prolonged observations on the desired biological sample. Automatic data acquisition is achieved by Visual and force feedback control. The device is tested in the application the cell characterization under in vitro conditions.

INTRODUCTION
MECHANOTRANSDUCTION is a cell process that converts
mechanical stimuli into biochemical signals. The ways in which mechanical
stimuli are transmitted into the cell are of particular research interest. Robotics and microrobotics approaches maybe the examples of ways in which measurements, positioning, and monitoring and mechanotransduction
studies at the molecular level. scanning probe microscopy is suitable in providing information about local forces and
contact mechanics. a force
biomicroscope (FBM) system has been developed that combines
SPM techniques and advanced robotics approaches. It has a Mechanical sensing unit, Imaging unit, Clean room unit, A master PC and a supervising user.
