Provides ease of automatic shutdown after the required length of time. This is achieved using the AT89S52 MCU. Four push-to-on switches are connected to a microcontroller port. These four switches are to provide four different fixed time constants. A 16X2 LCD is connected to the microcontroller to display the status of the pump. Contrast the LCD screen can be adjusted using a preset that is connected to it. A transistor is used to operate the relay during the active time period. 5V double pole - double relay is used to control the AC liquid pump. An LED indication is provided for the visual identification of the relay / load status. A switching diode is connected through the relay to neutralize the inverse EMF. This project uses a regulated 5V, 750mA power supply. The power LED is on for visual identification of the power status. 7805 Three-terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. The bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the transformer secondary side down from the 230 / 18V downstream transformer.
