The classic PIN entry mechanism is widely used to authenticate a user that stabilizes the usability and security fragments of a system. However, if this scheme is to be used in a public system, then the scheme may have problems with the surf attack on the shoulder. In which, an abandoned user can observe totally or partially the login session. Even the events of the login session can be recorded so that the invader can use them later to obtain the actual PIN. Textual passwords are the most common method used for authentication, however, they are defenceless against dictionary attacks, social engineering and various espionage attacks. Graphic passwords are alternative techniques to textual passwords. As most of the graphic schemes are defenceless for shoulder surfing. To signal this problem, text can be combined with images or colours to generate session passwords for authentication. Session passwords can be used once and each time a new password is generated.
