The Opening Ceremony is an outstanding moment in the event to officially welcome and congratulate the athletes for reaching the National Finals of the School Games and inspiring them to perform at their best during the competitions. The show will bring together a range of diverse, young and talented artists from the area and beyond. From the street performers, dancers, gymnasts and singers, the show is guaranteed to be a spectacular start to the 2017 School Games.


The Opening Ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 31, from 8:15 pm to 2:00 pm in the Hazel Rigg Fountain area of Loughborough University.
