"Poetry is the heart, what music is for the soul," was the motivation behind the Recitation between Classes, Primary and Secondary Sections.
The latter was entitled "The Winged Word". It was good to see the close fight presented by the participants as the indicated scores. Surely these young bards gave WINGS the emotional word ... In today's world, expressing your feelings should be part of one's education and education. . . . our young people are moving in the right direction.
The companions of the day did well to motivate each of the participants. Participants recited poems ranging from different ages of English literature to their own.
After each class, a presentation was made. Std 5 promulgated the poem "Teamwork"; Std 6 added harmony to "Beauty"; and Std 7 had a choral recitation.
