Air tickets booking System contain the aircraft schedule, fare tariffs, passenger reservations and ticket records. An airline Inventory ™ contains all flights with available place. the seizure of the airline are usually divided into service classes (e.g. first, business and economy class) and up to 26 booking classes, for which different prices and booking conditions apply. Inventory data is imported and is supported through the Schedule distribution by the standardised interfaces. One of the main functions of managing inventory is inventory management. Inventory control steers how many seats are available in various grades of booking, opening and closing individual booking classes for sale. In conjunction with the terms and conditions of booking, stored in the fare quote system the price of each seat is sold.
Users get access to airline inventory ™ through the display of availability. It contains all offered flights for a given city-pair with their available seats in different classes of the booking. This display contains flights which are operated by the airline code, as well as joint flights the airline operated in partnership with another airline. availability of other airlines is updated using the industry-standard interfaces. Depending on the type of cooperation he supports access to the last seat (the last place available) in real time. Booking for individual passengers or groups are stored in the so-called Passenger Name Record (PNR). Among other data, the PNR contains personal information, such as your name, contact information or special services requests (SSRS), for example, for a vegetarian meal, and also flights (segments) and issued tickets. Some reservation systems also allow you to store customer data in profiles to avoid data re-entry each time a new request is made for a known passenger. In addition, most systems have interfaces to CRM systems or customer loyalty applications (aka Frequent Traveler systems). Before the flight takes off, the so-called Passenger Name List (PNL) is passed to the posts, which is used to check in passengers and baggage. Booking data such as the number of booked passengers and special service requests passed to the FLIGHT crew, management systems and power systems. After the flight departed booking system is updated list of checked in passengers (for example, passengers who had bookings but not tested in (not shown) and passengers who have registered, but didnâ "¢ T has a reservation (go shows)). Finally data needed to account for income and accounting is given of administrative systems.
