Printing is a good starting point for a lot of home buyers ... especially those who do not know the area well. Another good thing about most printed advertising is that almost every agent flips through the real estate section.
However, printing (and most traditional ad solutions) is difficult because it is a single impression and very little opportunity to continue the conversation ... unless they call you, which they will not.
If you use print the right way it can be effective in driving traffic. The goal of any traditional advertising should not be to sell properties. It should be to grow your brand recognition and drive prospects to your digital presence (landing page, Facebook page, etc.). This is also known as the conversion of paid traffic to traffic ownership.
