VOTE OF THANKS SPEECH
Honorable Director Lady, Honorable Manager Lord, Honorable Teacher, respected Parents and My Dear Colleagues!
Today we are all gathered here for the celebration of the occasion sponsored by the Teacher's Day and now we have reached the end of this beautiful celebration. I, on behalf of each of the students at this university, would like to offer a vote of thanks to all our respected teachers who have a great role to play in shining our future and our steering committee to organize a great event and give us this opportunity. I am very proud to give this speech as a way to thank my honorable teachers. There is a great limitation of words to the respect of teachers, but I will still try to express my points of view and thank all the teachers.
As we all know that in India, we celebrate Teacher's Day on September 5 to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a teacher himself, our former president of India, a profound philosopher and statesman. He wanted his birthday to be celebrated as "teacher's day". On this day, a student has a propitious opportunity to thank his honorable teachers. Nowadays many students have made poems, speeches, dance presentations and many other performances as a way of thanking their respected teachers and, in fact, they are beautiful.
A teacher is not only a person who teaches academic lessons to his students, but is also a guide for a student. The word "GURU" is used for a teacher in India who is a Sanskrit word and in this word, "GU" means darkness and "RU" means who eliminates darkness. A teacher helps students in each and every aspect of their life. They are the future molders of students. They help students achieve their goals. Behind a successful person, there is an excellent teacher guide that shows the right path for your students. A teacher scolds his students just to make their future bright and their scolding worthy.
Nor can we forget to thank our parents because they have the most important role in the life of each person. We all know that our parents are the first people we receive as our first teachers in our lives. They taught us to walk and eat. Therefore, I would like to extend my vote of thanks to our respected parents for everything they did for us and they are still doing so. Without the guidance and love of parents, it is very difficult to survive in this world.
I would also like to thank our honorable director, lady and manager, for providing such great and talented teachers, and also for giving us many opportunities in college that help to sharpen our talents.
In this note, I would like to conclude my speech and express special thanks to our honorable lady director, the steering committee, respected teachers and respected parents for making this event a memorable day for us.
Thank you and wish you all a great day ahead!
