3D audio system developed by William.G.Gardner.

Sound cards, multimedia speakers, video
games etc.. Are marketed as having 3D capability.

A new technology called Acoustic Environment modeling has emerged which combines basic 3D technology to simulate natural acoustic scenes.

3D AUDIO SYSTEM

A 3D audio system has the ability to position sounds all around a listener.

Here the sound is created by headphones, but the listener feels that the sound comes from arbitrary points in space.

Ordinary stereo systems can’t position sounds to the sides or rear of the listener, nor above or below the listener.
