ABSTRACT
This project deals with a speed sensorless separately excited dc motor drive which uses the adaptive observer to estimate the rotor speed. The stability analysis of speed estimation is carried out. The modified feed forward control is integrated with the adaptive observer to simplify the implementation. Abstract
In this paper, new descriptor observer design approaches are presented for multivariable systems with measurement noises. If the system matrix is stable, the proposed modified proportional and derivative observer technique allows us not only to decouple the measurement noise in any forms completely, but also obtain accurate estimations of both system states and measurement noises. Abstract


A robust/adaptive stochastic observer is presented for stochastic nonlinear dynamics having excessive uncertainties. It was shown through a new theorem that the proposed nonlinear robust sliding mode observer has very accurate state estimate error characteristic. The observer uses the sliding mode technique for the robustness and a deterministic adaptive law to guarantees a globally asymptotically convergence observation error. Abstract:
The field oriented control emerged as an important approach for the control of AC machines, and continues to be explored and developed in the literature. The estimation of the rotor flux from the measurable variables was the only method used to implement the vector control of the induction machine. To replace the estimator based on the mathematical model of the system, which can lead to unintended errors due to uncertainties on the model and on the measures we use an appropriate observer.
