Amplitude, frequency, phase are changed

A receiver should compensate the distortions to recover the transmitted signal
Channel equalization is the compensation process of the distortions in a RF transmission

it is very useful for any distortion to get it from the original signal to avoid jamming so we use both wiener filter and lms so i need to study both of two cases to see what is new

In order to implement the adaptive equalizer, we need to generate a reference signal for the adaptive
algorithm. For the initial adaptation of the filter coefficients we need at the receiver to be able to
generate a replica of the transmitted data sequence. This known sequence is referred to as the
training sequence.
