The altimeter measures sea level once every repeat period (except at cross-over points)
If we have a high frequency signal which we measure at a low frequency we get aliasing
Because of the way the altimeter lays down its tracks these aliased signals appear to move

Radar Guns and Laser radar Guns


This is the age of speed. We can see people zipping down the highways at unimaginable speed. Long before the invention of radar guns in 1970's and laser speed guns in 1990's the police had a very tedious job in detecting those vehicles which where driven at over speed. The radar gun emits microwaves and works on the principle of radar where as the laser gun emits infrared rays and gives more accurate readings than the radar gun. Adaptive active phased array radars are seen as the vehicle to address the current requirements for true ?multifunction? radars systems. Their ability to adapt to the enviournment and schedule their tasks in real time allows them to operate with performance levels well above those that can be achieved from the conventional radars.
