Abstract:
Steam may be the answer to a problem that has always dogged robotics: how to feed a robot enough energy to do useful work But steam doesnâ„¢t mean old fashioned boilers, water supply, and burning fuel. Instead this technique makes use of hydrogen peroxide to generate steam.
A major barrier holding back humanoid robots is the lack of decent motors. They also need a power supply that doesnâ„¢t take all of the robotâ„¢s energy just to move i ....etc

The focus of the research has been on producing tiny batteries for powering MEMS and which, in theory, could last thousands of years.
