ABSTRACT
A distributed database system is built on standalone mobile databases found on mobile devices. At the heart of the architecture are elected devices that take on the role of data directories which collect the schema of the databases and become the contact points for all nodes that wish to submit queries against the distributed database. The system is implemented on pocket PCs that run the Microsoft WinCE operating system and communicate using Bluetooth.

Mobile Inbox Search Using Pocket PC

A method is provided to effectively allow a mobile terminals user to search for a desired SMS message in a list of received SMS massages .The list of received SMS messages is displayed on a display unit ,and a plurality of search method option are provided to allow the user to search for an SMS message according to plurality of search condition. The study of the feasibility analysis of the implementation of a Compiler in Pocket PC with considering various constraints, if possible implementation of it. Analysis mainly focuses on the running the system rather than starting it from the scratch. The project work shows that it is possible to develop compiler for the concerned device.
