Abstract
The ear is a promising candidate for biometric identification. However, in prior work, the pre-processing of ear images has had manual steps, and algorithms have not neces- sarily handled problems caused by hair and earrings. This seminar present a complete system for ear biometrics, including automated segmentation of the ear in a profile view image and 3D shape matching for recog- nition. and evaluated this system with the largest experimental study to date in ear biometrics, achieving a rank-one recognition rate of 97.6%.for ear ....etc

Novel shape memory effect (SME) and pseudoelastic behavior are discovered in single-crystalline Au, Cu, and Ni nanowires with lateral dimensions of 1.5-10 nm. Under tensile loading and unloading, these wires can recover elongations of up to 50%, well beyond the recoverable strains of 5-8% typical for most bulk shape memory alloys (SMAs). Composites of shape memory alloys (SMA) with a matrix have been widely studied to suppress the propagation of damage. In these studies, the SMA is used as an actuator. Shape memory alloys (SMA's) are metals, which exhibit two very unique properties, pseudo-elasticity, and the shape memory effect. A coupled statistical model can be used to recover facial shape from brightness
images of faces. This project is a software tool that helps a user to recover the face from
the given input image. The input image may be either dark or bright image, where the

This seminar aim to extract ear shape features for recognition Active Shape Models (ASMs) is applied to model the shape and local appearance of the ear in a statistical manner.
