this seminar describes steps involved in the manufacturing process of semicrystalline thermoplastic matrix composites. The model relates the temperature and pressure applied during processing to a) the flow of the matrix into the fiber tow, b) the formation of contact and bond between adjacent plies, and c) the crystallinity. The objective of the study reported here was to find a trade-off between the manufacturing conditions and the thermal endurance of the PZT patches.
