A heat pipe is a sealed container , normally in the form of a tube containing a wick lining the inside wall. It is used to transfer heat from source to sink by means of evaporation and condensation of a working fluid. Also it is a heat transfer mechanism that combines the principles of both thermal conductivity and phase transition to efficiently manage the transfer of heat between two solid interfaces.
