Abstract
Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) concept is
very important in the academic community. The open
philosophy of FOSS is consistent with academic
freedom and the open dissemination of knowledge and
information in academia. FOSS can lower the barriers
to access of ICTs by reducing the cost of the software.

The vision of the OpenRAN architecture is to design radio access network architecture with the following characteristics:

The sole motive of an AUTOSAR is the replacement of the proprietary standards of the software system functions, into an open standard. This helps in building a plug-and-play atmosphere where the software modules can go hand in hand with the electronic architecture at the same time. This creates an open standard for automotive E/E architecture. This in turn will help in having a standardized tool chain that can become the fundamental building block for management functions for both the future applications and standard software modules. ....etc

Robocode is an Open Source educational game

Robocode is an Open Source educational game by Mathew Nelson (originally R was provided by IBM). It is designed to help people learn to program in Java and enjoy the experience.
