Pumped hydroelectric and compressed air energy storage (CAES) are currently economic for utilities when relying on natural geologic formations and the cheapest, most abundant substances (i.e. elevated water and compressed air). What is Compressed Air Energy Storage

CAES refers to the compression of air to be used later as energy source.It can be stored during periods of low energy demand (off-peak),inorder to meet periods of higher demand (peak-load).
The first CAES systems were
constructed by Victor Popp in 19-th
centuary That was in 1870.

Sir i am Sachin.S.R studying Mechanical engineering in Maharaja Institute Of Technology,Mysore.I am thinking of doing 'compressed air bicycle' or 'pneumatic bicycle' for my final year project.I searched about this topic every nuke and corner in internet but i didn't find sufficient information.i'm very much interested in this topic.sir my interest is to run a small 3 wheel segway which runs with a help of motor and the motor is powered with compressed air.I saw many videos related to this topic but there is no much detail.I need to know how we ....etc
