The application of a superconductor to a faultcurrent limiter in a power system has been researched.We developed a magnetic shielding type superconductingfault current limiter using a Bi2212 thick film cylinder.This limiter consists of a primary winding on asuperconducting cylinder for generating an AC magneticfield, the cylinder for shielding the field, an iron core formagnetic members and a control ring for controlling faultcurrents. Abstract
This paper proposes a two-phase scheme for removing salt-and-pepper impulse noise. In the first
phase, an adaptive median filter is used to identify pixels which are likely to be contaminated by noise
(noise candidates). In the second phase, the image is restored using a specialized regularization method
that applies only to those selected noise candidates. In terms of edge preservation and noise suppression,
