1. ABSTRACT
Generic Access Network (GAN) is a telecommunication system which extends mobile services voice, data and IP Multimedia Subsystem/Session Initiation Protocol (IMS/SIP) applications over IP access networks.
This report will attempt to discuss the details of the GAN, its evolution, its services, architecture, and other implications.

VoWiFi is used to reference a Wi-Fi-based VoIP service. VoWiFi is one of those weird acronym type words &$151; made up of a combination of abbreviation and acronym. Just because you can merge technologies, doesn't mean you should merge acronyms and abbreviations.

ABSTRACT
In this paper we discuss how the location information provided by the GPS receiver can be used for efficient mobile usage. The network topology we are considering is comprised of fixed mobile base stations and mobile handsets. In the network the base stations and the mobile nodes are GPS equipped. The idea is to leverage the information of the fixed base stations and the mobile handsets positions, obtained via the GPS, to improve performance of the mobile routing to adaptively determine the appropriate destination ....etc

Introduction
