Introduction
 It consist of two sections:the receiving section and the transmitting section.
 The receiving section consists of an Infrared remote.
 In this project I’m using a Sony Infrared remote.
 Whenever a key is pressed on the remote a coded pulse train is emitted. The pattern of the pulse train depends on the key pressed.

A remote control is a component of an electronics device, most commonly a television set, used for operating the device wirelessly from a short line-of-sight distance.
The remote control can be contracted to remote or controller. It is known by many other names as well, such as converter clicker, didge, flipper, the tuner or the changer. Commonly, remote controls are Consumer IR devices used to issue commands from a distance to televisions or other consumer electronics such as stereo systems, DVD play ....etc

his Project ?Infrared Remote Switch? is used to Switch
On/Off an electrical appliances which may be Light, Fan etc
The Remote control used is an ordinary TV remote control
which should be pointed towards the Kit and by pressing
any button the device connected to the system will toggle
on every button press.
The above system is monitored and controlled by the 8 bit
Microprocessor. The Microprocessor continuously monitors
the Infrared sensor and if it sense infrared signal then it
latches the sensor and the microprocessor toggle the load ....etc

Infrared Remote Control

The transmitter circuit includes IR LED, 2N2222 NPN Silicon Transistor , 2N2907 PNP Silicon Transistor.When the switch S1 presses LED emits IR light. The receiver part mainly consists of LM308 Op Amp IC , LM567 Tone Decoder, and NPN Phototransistor and a relay.
