The PAO DSC (ORs) maintains Defense Security Corps Jawans Payment Accounts (DSC). The total number of IRLAs maintained in the PAO is approximately 47,900. The office is operating under CDA Chennai and is headed by ACDA / SAO Incharge and supported by 4 SAOs / AOs, 21 AAOs / SOs (A) and 129 SA / Aud / Clerks. The PAO has 12 Ledger Groups.
The main functions of the OAP are the correct and rapid adjustment of the Pay and the Assignments and the maintenance of the accounts of the Fund.
PAO (ORs) DSC, Cannanore is a computerized PAO. Now the PAO has the EDP Center running in the same building.
