Hiii am Dnyaneshwaran and would like to get detail on design and fabrication of pneumatic riveting machine report
Today riveting is done by using hammer, punching tool and lathe to place the rivets in the brake shoe. We change this method using pneumatic pressure consist of pneumatic cylinder with unidirectional valve and pedal system. A fixed table provided to the brake shoe. Reduces pillow and rivet waste. Also rivets can be placed accurately without any damage. The maximum number of service stations that have a compressor, so this project can be useful for all mechanics and the time of riveting will be reduced when compared with manual riveting. The cost of pneumatic riveting machine is low and is more efficient for the modern world.

A press or machine press is a tool used to work the metal (SOAP) by changing its shape and internal structure. A forging press reforms the workpiece into a three-dimensional object, not only by changing its visible shape but also the internal structure of the material. A stronger part results from this process than if the object was machined. A drill press is a type of press machine used to cut holes in the material. It can be small and hand driven and maintain a simple or very large CNC-operated die set with a multi-station turret and maintain a much larger and more complex set of dies. Most punching machines are large machines with a 'C' type frame or a 'portal' type frame. Type C has the hydraulic plunger at the top front, while the portal frame is very similar to a full circle with the plunger centered within the frame to stop the deflection or distortion of the frame. U-type presses have a bed plate which is used to lock the lower bearing of the die. T-bolts are used to lock the die and therefore this plate contains T-grooves into which the T-bolts are inserted. These slots are placed diagonally and with a horizontal groove on the longest side of the plate . These grooves extend to a central hole made in the plate, the hole being large enough to accommodate another socket with a hole, the hole being used to drop the perforated part in the lower part of the press. The upper part of the tool is supported against a vertical sliding piston with a clamping system which only admits a particular diameter of a threaded cylindrical member referred to as a "shank" of the tool. The lower portion of the tool is locked to the lower bed plate and the upper portion of the tool is locked to the slide piston.
