Cargo Tracking System is an online system for transporting various goods from one place to another and also viewing the customer about the current status of cargo.
It mainly consist of Three modules:
i. Head Office
Head office is the main office for controlling sub office under control.
ii. Sub Office
Only permit staff can allow to enter the sub office.
iii. Customer
It is used for the customer for viewing the current status of cargo according to enter the given tracking number and appropriate message will display.

I'm doing doing a final year major project in international shipping so i need to evolve new technology and concepts for Shipment planning and optimization, Shipment Tracking, Shipment Alerting and Notification, Proof of Delivery (POD) and Claims... So give me new ideas i'm developing the software using Asp.net

Abstract

The Cargo Tracking System, when fully implemented, will provide the Y-12 National Security Complex with advanced inventory information and analysis capabilities and enable effective assessment, forecasting and management of materials, critical non-nuclear materials, and certified supplies.
The full automation and integration of business activities related to nuclear and non-nuclear materials that will be put into effect by the Integrated Materials Management System (IMMS) will significantly improve and streamline the process of providing vital information. This overview looks at the kinds of information improvements targeted by the IMMS project, related issues, the proposed information architecture, and the progress to date in implementing the system.
