ABSTRACT

You may know the names Bluetooth
and Wi-Fi. You may even know the names of the
biggest companies of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. You
know that these are some of the prominent
existing wireless technologies. You know how
each of it works. But have you ever taken a
closer look at these two together? What does
Bluetooth have to offer that Wi-Fi doesn’t? What
Wi-Fi have to offer that Bluetooth doesn’t? Who
tops whom? Which is better? What can you do
with Bluetooth or what can you do with Wi-Fi?
Which is the cheaper of the two to implement?
What are its advantages over the other? What are
the disadvantages? Well, that is exactly what we
are going to show you. This report will give you
the answers to your questions.
This is a comparison of the two major
wireless technologies, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The
first part of the report is a comparative study of
the two technologies. The later part describes the
implementation done, i.e., the setting up of the
Bluetooth network and the Wi-Fi network.
