1. Introduction For Survey System
The need for Survey information in has increase significantly due to economic reforms taking place inside our country and abroad. This demand for cadastral information have made the number of surveys and data increased significantly to an extent that can not be control by the existing survey system at our records. The problem have been caused by inadeqancy of resources to handle such influx of surveys jobs and the ultimate data and plans produced that would need an efficient system of storage and retrieval.
The practice of finding boundaries is neither a purely legal process, nor a purely scientific process. It is something in between with a twist. In the end those that do it well find it can be rewarding and fun, sort of as mathematical detective work, with archeology, dendrology, geology and paraigal aspects thrown in. So we sometimes use the old saying “Land Surveying” is both an art and a science.
SR Manager and surveying-info that are instruments for checking surveys submitted to the Director of Surveys for approval and storage of data. But in spite of all these developments still there are several activities, that are yet to be automated including plot numbering, locating new surveys on drawing, Topographical Maps or any other form of Maps Data entry, scanning and Retrieval of Plan, etc.
