Abstract
The flow experience in participatory designed online environments is studied in this article. A flow can be formally defined as an optimal experience in which the participant feels the control over the tasks and clearly understands what he/she has to do.time distortion, telepresence etc are felt by the people During the flow experience .They maybe rewarded with a positive effect in the meanwhile. The flow in participatory designed online environments is studied in this article and evaluation is done whether it could be used for validating the design of a web application. the participants will not be active if a design is not well understood. They are distracted and the flow cannot be felt by them. In the process of development of Web 2.0 applications that form new hybrid environments, participants can take the role of designer and modify the system so that the system is made transparent and fit their needs. A system that describes the users activities and provides technically transparent environment to the user is described in terms of ambient intelligence.
