The calculator was written by Rolf Howarth in early 1996. A scientific calculator with the appropriate operator precedence is implemented, which includes trigonometric and logarithmic functions, factorials, 12 levels of parentheses, registers to base 2 (a practical function for information entropy!). logical operators bit-by-bit, hexadecimal, octal, binary and ASCII display. The calculator is written in JavaScript and we invite you to view the JavaScript source (visible in the HTML page) for personal educational purposes, as long as you know that it is protected by copyright and is not in the public domain. This calculator is now available as part of the Hummingbird Business Information Portal.
