SPEECHÂ OF RETIREMENTÂ
Good afternoon Board of Directors, Colleagues and Friends. It is my pleasure to deliver the speech of my retirement from the company ABC Multinational Co. as the General Manager. I welcome you to this difficult but special occasion.
I have spent ten years with many of you in this company as an executive. It is delightful to acknowledge that you all have given me the best working conditions and the environment to fulfill my duties and responsibilities. The company is in a state of high profitability and is well managed by all of you. So, now I feel it is the best time to withdraw from my position and give other young and charismatic leaders a chance to take the job.
During the stay in this company, I had the opportunity to learn several things that have helped me both in my professional and personal life. I met and made many friends who supported me everywhere. I learned several key skills such as management ability, time management, honesty and teamwork. This is clearly evident that we have achieved success working together as a company and have won several awards because of our dedication and motivation to achieve our goal as a multinational company. Therefore, I can say that my success in this company is due to the support of all of you.
It gives me great pleasure to say that our company is a leader at the moment. This is all because we work as a team and the company values and respects each and every individual in the organization, regardless of position and role. At this special moment, I express my sincere thanks to all my colleagues for their commitment to ensuring that the company grows beyond established expectations. Nothing would have been possible without the support, hard work and dedication of my team, as well as other co-workers. I'm a little sad because I'm going to miss them all and this environment.
I remember the moment, when the company incurred a great loss and the shareholders became impatient with the company, it was the board of directors and my colleagues who supported and motivated me. That was a massive challenge for us and through their dedication and unconditional support we saw about the situation and are making big profits now.
This company has been my dream and my only desire was to see this company growing every day. We have achieved success, but it is essential that we maintain this success in the years to come, in fact, multiply it by various praise and recognition. ABC Multinational Co. prides itself on being associated with all customers and dedicated employees.
I express my special thanks to all of you and wish you continued success in your life. There is a lot of learning ahead of you; so be focused and persistent and you will be successful in your future endeavors.
