Winter internship of Clw 2017 start from which date.pls reply as early as possible.
When Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) began operating in 1950, railroad locomotives were fired by coal. The pattern of energy consumption has changed since then. Like the fuel needs of the Indian Railways. From coal, the CLW moved to electric locomotives and then to diesel engines.

With the fuel getting more expensive, the Indian Railways crew began to manufacture energy-efficient three-phase cokers about a decade ago, although it initially started with small numbers. After completing 63 years of operations, CLW is now one of the largest electric locomotive manufacturers in the world. During this trip, he has manufactured 15 types of crazy.

Apart from serving the Railways, CLW has also contributed to the industrial growth of the eastern region, and particularly West Bengal.

The locomotive manufacturer will enter a new era, said Radhey Shyam, General Manager of CLW, once it moves the entire fleet to energy-efficient (three-phase) locomotives by 2015.

Currently, the locomotion requirement of the Railways is served largely by CLW. For 2013-14, a target of 275 insane has been set, and CLW is confident in achieving it.

"We will definitely achieve this goal. We can also surpass it depending on the availability of funds," Shyam said.

To increase its production capacity, CLW is installing an auxiliary unit in Dankuni (Hooghly), about 220 km southeast of the existing facility in Chittaranjan. CLW expects to launch the first three-phase locomotive at the Dankuni plant at the end of this fiscal year.

"The Dankuni auxiliary unit, which is under construction, will have the capacity to manufacture 100 three-phase locomotives per year. We expect to get the first Dankuni locomotive for Q4 this fiscal year," Shyam said.

According to him, the Dankuni unit will involve an estimated investment of Rs. 270 crore. He has linked with a Japanese company for technology to develop energy-efficient locomotives. Capable of transporting freight trains with more freight cars, these crazies will also be used for the proposed dedicated freight corridors, Shyam said.
